About Us
At Purrfect Wish, our love for cats goes beyond companionship—it’s a lifelong mission of rescue, care, and second chances. Founded by Lisa and Jack Berberette, our journey with rescue animals spans over 30 years, during which we’ve saved, adopted, and placed countless cats into loving homes.
Unlike large organizations, we are not a non-profit—we do this entirely on our own, driven purely by compassion and a desire to give every cat a better life. Each month, we dedicate close to $1,000 to food and litter alone, ensuring our furry family is well-fed and comfortable. Additionally, we invest several thousand dollars annually in veterinary care to provide every cat with the medical attention they deserve.
As part of our commitment to their well-being, we are currently building a catio, a secure outdoor space that allows our kitties to enjoy fresh air while staying protected from dangers such as predators and Avian Flu. Through all of these efforts, we strive to make a difference—one paw at a time.

Each Little has journeyed a path from uncertainty to warmth and belonging. Some arrived timid and wide-eyed, unsure of the love awaiting them. Others, weathered and wise, had battled hardships before finding peace in our care. Yet, they all share one thing: they were rescued. Whether they now curl up in the arms of new devoted Cat Parents or remain a beloved part of our family, their lives, and ours, have been transformed by love. ❤️

Yet, there are those who crossed the rainbow bridge—their paw prints forever imprinted on our hearts. They taught us about resilience, forgiveness, and the beauty of fleeting moments.
